These photos were all taken at the "Aldea de Rio Blanco" (Village
of the White River) in San Pedro Sula Honduras. The houses are made of scrap lumber and cardboard boxes. All the children
in the village are malnourished and have parasites. Many 8 & 9 year old children are the size of small 2 - 3 year olds.
There is no running water, plumbing of any sort, nor electricity. Floors are made of dirt and the drinking water is contaminated
water from the river. In October 2008, Pastor Julio de Pavon and his wife started a school and a feeding program for 248 children
in this village; currently there are somewhere in the neighborhood of 1,000 - 1,5000 children in this village. The village
population is around 6,000 people. It is located in the city of San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
