Come with us to Honduras!
We really would like to have large groups at each mission trip. We will go on three missions next year: March, July,
and Sept (maybe first week of October). The trip in March will most likely be the second week in March, we are still
waiting to confirm dates with Pastor Jose. Please use the Contact Us form if you are interested in joining us.
- Help teach and prep for VBS. VBS is taught M – F in the hospital during mission trips to parents and kids.
We usually teach 30 – 40 kids/day and 10 – 20 parents/day. No Spanish necessary.
- Help prepare and deliver
snacks.
- Unpack and organize medicines and medical supplies.
- Spend time with kids who are too sick to get out
of bed:
- Do simple VBS crafts bedside
- Read to the kids
- Pray with the kids and family
- Do
patient and parent education when asked to by staff, we can translate.
- Pray with kids and parents who are very sick,
just spend time with them.
- Possibly go to local stores and help purchase needed items for the hospital
- Repair
broken items in the hospital. I would love to have a handyman come on each trip.
- Possibly put together wheelchairs
or other items needed by the nursing staff.
- Do whatever needs to be done.
- Hand out beanies and blankets to
the kids.
